Chinese export plate with floral sprays

This 18th century plate is decorated in the center with four flower groups, surrounded by a simple band. The rim of this plate has an interesting decoration with not only flowers but also a number of cash coins dispersed throughout. This plate is an excellent example of Chinese export porcelain from the 2nd half of the reign of the Chinese emperor Qianlong. Diameter 9.25 inches (23.5 cm).
