Fine Chinese Imari saucer with flowers

This attractive Chinese Imari saucer is made out of extremely thin and translucent porcelain. It exhibits very well how skilled the Chinese craftsman of the Kangxi period were. The decoration consists of peonies, fruits and precious items. This excellent piece dates from the reign of the Chinese emperor Kangxi (1662-1722), around 1720. The diameter of the saucer is 4.75 inches (about 12 cm).

Perfect with only some rubbing to the gold.

Kangxi, circa 1720.
