Fine Chinese Imari saucer with flowers
Description
This attractive Chinese Imari saucer is made out of extremely thin and translucent
porcelain. It exhibits very well how skilled the Chinese craftsman of the Kangxi
period were. The decoration consists of peonies, fruits and precious items. This
excellent piece dates from the reign of the Chinese emperor Kangxi (1662-1722),
around 1720. The diameter of the saucer is 4.75 inches (about 12 cm).
Condition
Perfect with only some rubbing to the gold.
